Hello! How can we help you?

How do you replace the brake cable on the Trionic Veloped?

You can replace a worn or stretched brake cable on the Trionic Veloped yourself: loosen the handlebar on one side, take off the wheel and brake cover, unhook the old cable at both ends, thread the new cable through the brake lever and brake, refit the wheel, then test and fine-tune the brake with an 8 mm wrench. The video and full steps are below.

Video showing how you replace the brake cable:

  5. remove the wheel
  6. remove the brake cover
  7. remove the wire from the brake
  8. remove the wire from the brake lever
  9. Mount the wire on the brake handle and thread on the brake handle on the handlebar, and press the handle and attach it to the frame
  10. mount the wire in the brake and then mount on the brake protection cover
  11. attach the wheel
  12. Attach the handle and brake lever
  13. test the brake and adjust it if necessary, this is done on the part that protrudes from the brake cover. Screw on it with an 8mm wrench to the desired result

  • Overall, I am satisfied.…

    I am 86-year-old and weigh 58 kg.
The device looks good (to be envious), is well thought out and easy to assemble. What struck me:
