How do I center the Trionic brake ?

If the rear wheel on your Veloped/Walker doesn’t turn free, it could be that the brake is not centered and it rubs against the brake hub (brake surface). By centering the brake, there will be free space between the brake and the brake hub, and the wheel spins free again.

Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1:Locate the top hole in the brake cover that gives you access to the M5 screw that holds the brake, by using a 4mm Allen key.

Step 2:Loosen the screw 2 turns (anti-clockwise).

Loosen the brake screw 2 full turns

Step 3: Pull the brake lever tight and hold it.

Step 4: While holding the brake lever pulled, tighten the brake screw with the 4mm Allen key.

Pull the brake lever and hold it. While holding the brake lever, tighten the brake screw.

Step 5: Test the brake clearance by spinning the wheel and checking that there is no rubbing between the brake and the brake hub.

NOTE:The brake lever in the picture may differ from the brake lever on your Veloped/Walker.
