What was your concern with this review?
I have a small farm with a few animals left and need help getting myself around.

The Neurologist recommended I get a sturdy walker that I could use to not only help me walk but put animal feed and water in.
This does both things very well.
Extremely well made too.

This walker is a real help. Especially when both front wheels run together, I feel well guided while walking straight, and this is important because I am having balance problems and without it, I would easily stumble. Near where I live there are bumpy forest paths with pine roots or gravel, the Veloped goes straight forward and I can safely hold onto it. If I have to go through tight passages, I can easily lift one of the front wheels, so also tight corners are not a problem.

This review is totally voluntary!
I am 75 years old and I suffer from osteoarthritis, diabetes, and a heart issue. About six months ago, my wife and I decided to purchase a rollator from a well-known UK company. It was large and sturdy in design and I started using it and yes, it did help my mobility. But it was poorly made and after a few weeks, it was clear that the design could be improved. It was uncomfortable, it rattled and unless the surface was smooth and flat it was really hard work.

After some research, my wife discovered the Veloped range. We were drawn to the solid appearance, the large wheels, and video demonstrations of it being used in difficult terrain. She contacted Trionics via the website and found communication in English was straightforward and helpful. So we ordered a Veloped Sport 14er size M, with some extras including spare wheels and a pump. It arrived after about 10 days. Considering Trionic stated dispatch would be 3-5 days and UPS had to bring it from Sweden, the delivery was excellent and timely. The package was complete and as an added touch the pump and cane holder had been already fitted by Trionic.
Impressive.
I have been using it for three months now. Without exaggeration, it has changed my life. It is so comfortable. The large wheels and pneumatic tyres are silent and stable. The front wheel assembly is brilliant in that it easily overcomes kerbstones and bumps just as described. The braking system is super efficient and does take some getting used to, however. The grip handle height is easily adjustable and although I have yet to adjust the grips I do not see any problem. The seat is stronger than it looks, and the fact that it slides forward when I am walking to give me legroom is a brilliant yet simple design embellishment.
I do have a couple of minor issues. When the pump is stowed, it sometimes slides down the frame and catches my ankle. I could leave it indoors but that will be the day I need it! Sometimes the handlebar adjustment becomes slightly loose, causing the grip on that side to lower slightly which can be a nuisance when leaning on the handle or on rough terrain. It is easy to tighten but I would suggest that the tightening tool is kept in the basket pouch. The waterproof cover is excellent, of sound construction, but I find it awkward and fiddly to fit outside in the rain. Perhaps if I were younger and fitter…
I have tested the Veloped on different terrain and it makes short work of everything I have tried. Gravel pathways, which are supposed to be “wheelchair friendly* (Veloped is not a wheelchair of course), are not a problem with such large wheels. Smooth and rough grass and fields are fun to walk through. I have yet to try cobbles but I know where I can find some to test. Shingle pathways and soft sand are no obstacles. I have walked in the woods and the riverbank – photos of the terrain are attached! So, I go out for my daily walk with my camera equipment in the basket to the local quayside, sit on my Veloped, and take pictures of the fishing boats.
The Veloped is considered by some to be expensive. It is not cheap but it meets the test of quality. UK taxpayers with disabilities (including me) can claim VAT relief, which is substantial. I have been stopped by people in the street and in the woods who are impressed and, I think, a bit jealous! But to conclude, it is a life changer and I highly recommend it.

Bought this after I had a bad fall and lost my confidence. With this Walker, I feel safe and secure from losing my balance. I am 5 ft tall, so the 12er size S is ideal for me. Best decision I ever made, was to purchase this. The seat is great if you get tired. The Walker is greatly admired when I meet other people when I’m out walking.

Great companion for (almost) all journeys
Our mother loves going for a walk. Since the hip operation after a femoral neck fracture at the end of March 2020, she needed a rollator that enables her to walk outdoors safely and with as little vibration as possible for wrists and shoulders. Last autumn we finally found a model, the Trionic Veloped, which fully meets these requirements. She is out and about with her Veloped every day in all weathers, sometimes quite briskly. She even gets along with her vehicle on cleared winter paths and doesn't want to miss it anymore. She's also happy about the climbing wheel every time she "climbs" a curb without any problems. Only an umbrella holder would be the "icing on the cake" so that she does not get wet when it rains (therefore "only" four instead of actually 5 stars). Although the purchase price was very high and, because of this reason, the purchase decision was delayed, she has not regretted the decision and can recommend the Trionic Veloped to anyone who needs a comfortable, cross-country walking aid that really lives up to the promise of "outdoor".

The site's order form did not work.
Veloped is an excellent tool. Stable and at the same time, handy with a nice look. Surprisingly, not all rolling aids for people with disabilities are manufactured according to Veloped's principles.

I am 84, and have a crooked spine as a result of a motor accident five years ago, which means that it is painful for me to hold myself upright. I had not been able to take my daily walk for the last few months, and I had been unable to stand and chat with people. Since not walking, I have felt weaker in myself.

I have had my Veloped for a week, and find it enables me to walk upright and quite quickly. It copes well with my gravel drive, rough grass and the bumpy country lane where I live. If I meet a friend, it supports me while I stand and chat.
I live in such a windy place that any garden benches I placed in nice places to sit were blown away, and had to be put under shelter. I can now walk to my pond and sit and watch the wild life with my Veloped.
I am looking forward to discovering more things that have become possible for me again, such as going to exhibitions, to markets and so on.
I am very grateful to have found such a well-designed walking aid which is so much more than that.

My wife had major back surgery and we had a fairly nice walker for her to use before and after the surgery. It is nothing compared to the Trionic we purchased. The engineering and craftsmanship are superb and obviously of high quality. It has given her the freedom to go outside again and walk with confidence. This is important when recovering from this kind of surgery. Thank you Trionic.

Wow my Dad has recently bought a Trionic Veloped All Terrain Walker Rollator, no more sitting around watching the family having fun,he's joining in on the walks, shopping trips, and even started having holidays again,(that makes Mum happy!!),they've been on several coach holidays with the Trionic,it's so light and easily folds for putting in the boot, the seat on it is a life saver too, getting tired just have a sit down and off you go again,Mum puts the shopping in the front bag too, take a look on YouTube for the demonstration video,it's fantastic Dad wishes he had one year ago, money well spent,it will last for years, great aftercare from the company too. 10/10 Thank you well done guys :0)

Never will I forego the great tool which has given me back so much joy of life! Because of multiple sclerosis I was unfortunately no longer able to move about in nature. This led to great annoyance for me during holidays on the North Sea. No walking on the beach, in the forest or on paths through the fields—neither the rollator nor the wheelchair helped me. Until I discovered the Veloped! We were three times now on the road with the Veloped on different terrains. There is no surface where the Veloped does not grip; it even brakes on ice! Presumably, through the other posture I was able to cover several times as much as my usual distance. Why haven't I known about this sooner?!?! This terrific product should be familiar to all disabled people who like to get about in nature or on difficult routes like cobblestones, gravel or uneven paths with many edges. It gave me back so much quality of life! Many thanks, Mr. Kindberg! The very good quality and the possibilities that result from it justify the price.
