Now that I have been able to walk without difficulties with my walker for two months, I would like to thank you once again for this great invention. People keep being amazed and ask me about my walking aid and I can only recommend it. Interested people have often photographed the device to get information on the Internet.

The Veloped Tour is the Rolls-Royce of walkers. Quality materials and construction, the 12" pneumatic wheels make for effortless manoeuvrability and progress over uneven ground, pavements and kerbs.

The Veloped Sport 12er makes walking much easier: cobblestones and bumps are no longer a problem.
However, it is not suitable for sitting and resting, despite the slightly larger seat - the area is much too short due to the rigid limitation of the backrest bar!!!

I am absolutely delighted. Since Lockdown times I have continued the habit of going for walks around the attractive Inverness suburb which is my home. I get good Highland fresh air, exercise, and the social contact of chats with dog walkers and people in their front gardens. The latter is important since i am a widow living alone with family all in the far south. The state of our neglected pavements is dreadful but my new "vehicle" causes far less vibration than my old one which had small wheels and hard tyres. I am still able to walk a very short distance with my stick only, so can access appointments and a few town locations by taxi. But if there comes a time when I am no longer able for this, taxi drivers assure me they will cope with my folding walker, no bother. The walker contributes greatly to a sense of freedom and well being despite my ripe age of 94. My first ever car was a red MG Midget sports car!

My mum has been using the walker for some time now and she is very satisfied. The only drawback is that there is no clamp or hook to keep the rollator folded up tightly. This would be useful, for example, as a kind of hook that holds the two bars together to which the seat is attached. This would also make it easier to handle when loading the rollator into the car.

In operation this machine is good and ideal for my purpose which is getting out on local woodland paths and tracks
However - I am not at all happy in other ways

the brakes are difficult to manage - especially if I wish to have a short rest on the seat, when the brakes are particularly important
I find transportation very difficult. I don’t always have help available and the awkward shape makes it difficult to get in and out of my car and and yes I can take the wheels off, not always easy, particularly if they happen to be muddy or, as often happens, covered in ‘sheep-shit!
the fact that it cannot be locked in the closed position makes it very difficult when manoeuvering it in and out of the car as it tends to ease open - usually at a crucial point.
I think that is all. In summary good in operation but a few design faults in the preparation for transport.
But certainly not worth the very expensive price tag as it is not really a significant improvement on my old faithful walker which cost £250 and pops into the car no problem.

Bought for my mother who had cancer which was moving into the spine. She was never happy with anything but this machine was different. She called it her freedom machine and she went from not walking anywhere to walking to the local farm shop across gravel.

They are expensive BUT if you have the money then this is NOT a waste. She had a couple of weeks of independence before the big C got her.

I got this for my dad. He’s over 80yo and can still walk well with the assistance of a cane but uses one for safety. He loves his 14” walker for its comfortable seat, great breaks, and air-filled tires and suspension system that greatly reduce vibration from bumpy roads or debris. I was hesitant to purchase this walker because I couldn’t find much info online and the website looked somewhat scammy but turns out it’s a legit company and the ordering experience was easy. Dad’s had it for over three years now and it’s still in great shape. I will recommend you buy an extra set of tires with your initial order, as well as the cane holder if you plan carrying one. The walker is of high quality and very well designed but I do find it heavy and my steep drive from the front of the house and hills that surround me (all roads) require quite a bit of effort. I do wish it was made from a lighter material. I am 5ft 6ins tall and find the frame a little too big but I will get used to it.

The seat is a little high for me ( I have short legs).
