Since my severely disabled sister (spasticity) started using the Trionic Walker 12", sudden wheel locks on the numerous uneven road surfaces, as well as on sandy and grassy areas, are a thing of the past. It's safer for her and a great comfort for us when we're out with her or she's alone. Plus, it has a great design – so far, she's very happy with her new walker.

The only thing that's not always easy is lifting her to negotiate higher curb steps or when boarding public transport.

I bought the Veloped Tour 1.5 years ago and I'm very happy with it. The only problem was that the trunk of our car was too small. So I bought a travel rollator (it's not that expensive). We went to the North Sea and the travel rollator didn't meet my needs. I sold it and bought the Walker 12. Although it's a hefty price, I have to say it's worth it. It sits well and securely on any surface. I use the Veloped Tour every day (also because we have our dachshund with us, who gets into the basket in case of danger), and if I have to go out by car, I take the Walker 12 with me. I'm very happy with both the Veloped Tour and the Walker 12.

Since getting my Veloped Trek 14er I've been able to get out about in the Forests again. Have even managed to get half way up the Black Mountains in Wales. Also able to get out and take photos again, something I love to do!

I am 50 years old, my spine and joints are barely able to bear weight due to rheumatic and orthopaedic health disorders. In 2022 I also had a stroke with hemiplegia, which has improved somewhat, but I still have very serious limitations. (I am severely disabled and in need of care). Throughout my life, I have enjoyed being outside in nature daily: hiking, mountain climbing, walking, jogging, animal husbandry, .... However, 3 years ago an injury to my foot brought me to a "standstill" and since then the progress of the disease has been increasing rapidly. For about 2 years now, I have been dependent on the help of a rollator and of course I "have" to "torture" myself cross-country through woods and up hills in between, so that I can deal with the current situation at all. But every outdoor rollator I tried before simply failed on every bump and tipped over - with me. About half a year ago, my husband came across the Trionic on the internet. We were impressed by the precision of its manufacture. I was able to try it out second-hand at someone else's house and was completely thrilled. Every curb, every root, molehill, humpy pastures, stony paths - all a piece of cake with the Veloped Trek. Two weeks ago, I mustered up all my ambition and climbed a steep forest path to a castle with my husband and also walked around there on the uneven meadow terrain. Sure, I couldn't have done it alone, but it wouldn't have been possible with any other rollator. My thanks go to the staff of Trionic, whose commitment has given my life a bit of joy again. I have been meaning to write for some time to thank you for all the help my Veloped gives me - I use it for hanging out the washing and fetching peat from the shed as well as walking on the mostly rough terrain here on the Isle of Barra in the Western Isles of Scotland. I even managed to get down (with assistance to plan my route) to a beach I thought I would never visit again as it is backed by very high sand dunes. The attachment shows me coming up again; the beach is Tràigh Siar on the adjacent isle of Vatersay.

After our 86-year-old mother's walking radius decreased due to unsteady gait, and she could only move around outside the home with an escort, she considered – albeit very ambivalently – a mobility aid. A "regular" walker was out of the question for her – she had seen many people who "hung" behind their walkers and reached the limits of such a "regular" walker on every bump or curb.

When I, as my daughter, discovered the Veloped, I immediately knew the search was over – we wanted exactly this device! – and ordered it directly from Uppsala. Delivery was very prompt and traceable at all times via UPS. The sturdy packaging "exuded quality," and the assembly was also very quick and easy – even supported by a video. The customer service I contacted about a question responded very quickly and easily, and we felt and still feel very well looked after.
From the very first moment, our mother had her "Velo" under control; everything runs very smoothly, and in every detail – visually and haptically – you can feel the quality of the workmanship and the well-thought-out functionality.
Our mother was often asked about the cool design of the Veloped and the construction of the climbing bike with great interest and admiration. The difference to a "normal" walker is immediately obvious, and through training, her walking stability has already improved.
For our mother and for us as a family, the Veloped is simply a "game changer"! The "Velo" brings joy and quality of life!
In another review, we read the term "freedom machine," and that's exactly what it is! Our mother can finally move around outside completely independently again, run her errands, take a walk with our father through the Rhine promenade, and simply enjoy nature. The Veloped plows through curbs, gravel, and grass with ease. And loading it into the car is also a breeze.
We highly recommend this fantastic Veloped!
