Free delivery and free returns across the UK

All orders to mainland UK are dispatched with free shipping via UPS or DHL, tracked from dispatch to delivery. Delivery typically takes 2–4 working days. If the rollator is not right for you, returns within 30 days are free — no restocking fee, no questions asked.

Is VAT charged on rollators in the UK?

No. Rollators are classified as aids for disabled persons and are zero-rated for VAT under Schedule 9, Group 14 of the Value Added Tax Act 1994. The price shown in our shop is the price you pay — no VAT is added to UK orders. If you require a VAT relief declaration form, we can supply one on request.

Motability scheme

Trionic rollators are available through the Motability scheme for eligible Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) and War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS) recipients. Contact our customer service team to discuss Motability pricing and availability.

NHS, DWP and grant funding in the UK

Several funding routes can contribute toward the cost of a rollator in the UK:

  • NHS wheelchair and walking aid services — your GP or occupational therapist can refer you for a NHS-funded assessment. Eligibility and provision vary by integrated care board (ICB). We can supply clinical product specifications to support referrals.
  • Access to Work — if you need a rollator to work or travel to work, the DWP's Access to Work scheme can fund up to 100% of the cost. Apply through GOV.UK.
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP) — the daily living and mobility components of PIP can be used to self-fund mobility equipment. Trionic products are VAT-exempt, reducing the net cost.
  • Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) — local authorities administer means-tested grants for home adaptations including mobility equipment. Contact your local council.
  • Charitable grants — organisations including the Royal British Legion, SSAFA, Turn2us and local community foundations provide equipment grants. We can supply supporting documentation on request.

Our customer service team is happy to provide product specifications, pricing letters and clinical information to support any funding application. Contact us and we will respond within one working day.

Try before you buy

Trionic has over 50 UK dealers who offer in-person demonstrations. Alternatively, order online with our 30-day home trial — push the rollator on the terrain you actually walk, and return it free if it's not right.
