Brilliant for rough terrain, suggestion for travel improvement
We are extremely happy with it. My husband, 81 years old, even took it with him on a plane to Paris and used it around the city! It is easy to disassemble and store in the taxi. Removing the front wheel is a little more difficult. For older people with less strength, it's too heavy to lift and load in the car (my mother is 92 and she relies on a walker too). One criticism: the lights come off too easily from the rubber mounts when you store it in the car! If the Veloped is put together and stored in the trunk, it reopens itself when it is taken out. A locking device would be important. An extendable belt would already be enough.

  • My travel walker…

I bought the Trionic Veloped a few years ago for the outdoor use, specifically to walk my dog over rough terrain. After my dog and I got a bit older (almost 15 and 70 years old), I also bought the Walker 9er to be used indoors and as a 'travel walker…

  • I got this for my dad…

I got this for my dad. He’s over 80yo and can still walk well with the assistance of a cane but uses one for safety. He loves his 14” walker for its comfortable seat, great breaks, and air-filled tires and suspension system that greatly reduce vibrat…

  • Great experience all the way around!…

I've taken my trek miles on the desert and it'll go anywhere. The training is bringing me to the point where I can walk without it. Even when I had flats from goathead thorns--the bane of all OTR cyclists--they were easily fixed at a bike store. Trio…
